I shot at the Utica zoo today. Having never been there before I was unsure of what to expect. I had heard all the stories about the zoo including "why would you go there ? they have 3 birds and a German Shepard they try to pass off as a wolf" (from people who have apparently never been there before). But upon my arrival I was surprised as to all the animals there anxious and waiting for a few seconds of attention of a equally excited child.

i really like this shot! I didnt AS MUCH the first time i saw it, but now i see the straw in its mouth, wish it was a little bigger to be more noticeable.
so you enjoyed the zoo? everyone tells me not to go too, and that its free in the winter or something.
